The first morning

The first stamp of the morning

What happens at the counter the first time a customer joins and you stamp them, from the scan to the reward code.

A customer scans the QR while their loaf is being bagged. On their phone the page reads "Join" and your bakery's name, then how many stamps earn the reward and what it is. They type their mobile and press Text me a code, and a six-digit code arrives by text. They enter it, add a first name and an email if they like, and press Join. Their phone then confirms they have joined and asks them to give their mobile at the counter for stamps.

On your side, open Members. The new member sits at the top of the list, shown by first name if they gave one and by mobile if not, with a count of zero. Press Stamp on their row and it becomes one. Hand over the loaf.

From now on every visit is the same three moves: they give a name or a number, you find the row, you press Stamp. Ten presses in, or whatever your target is, the card is full: a six-character code pops up next to Stamp under the words "Reward earned", and it is saved to Rewards waiting too. Hand over the reward. The card has already started again.

The Overview page ticks these first jobs off as you go: write the card, print the QR, stamp a member. Once they are done it shows what has happened lately instead.
