Acceptable use

In a sentence

Use Daily Loaf to run a stamp card for a real bakery and to message the customers who joined it, and for nothing else.

You may

  • Run one stamp card for your bakery, with a reward you will hand over.
  • Invite customers at the counter, on your socials or through your link to join, and leave the choice to them.
  • Send campaigns about your bakery: new bakes, seasonal lines, changed hours, a stall at the weekend market.
  • Use the texting number that comes with Hearth for campaign texts and the replies to them.

You may not

  • Try to add, import or message anyone who did not join through your join page.
  • Send a campaign that misleads, hides who it is from, or tries to remove the way out. Daily Loaf adds the opt-out link, and you must not work around it.
  • Make claims about a product's health benefits, ingredients or allergens that you cannot stand behind, or send anything unlawful or aimed at children.
  • Use one account for a business other than the bakery on it, or share one account across unrelated businesses.
  • Meddle with how Daily Loaf runs, hunt for holes in it before telling us, or use it to hurt another person or business.
  • Suggest that Daily Loaf or Bakebound endorses your bakery, or that a stamp card affects a listing on the directory.

If it happens

We will tell you what we saw and ask you to stop. If it is serious or keeps happening, we may suspend or close the account. Members' opt-outs are honoured whatever happens to the account.
