The consent behind the Free plan

The sentence you tick for Free, who it covers, how to withdraw it, and what withdrawing does to an account on Free.

The price of Free is a marketing consent rather than money. You will find the box empty at sign-up, next to this exact sentence:

I agree to receive marketing from Bakebound and its partners about business growth and advertising services, by email and phone. Unsubscribe any time.

Tap "its partners" in that sentence and you reach the partners page, listing each one by name.

Only you are covered, as the bakery's business contact. Bakebound and its partners may email or ring you, recorded or automated voice calls included, with services for growing or advertising a business. Never by text. Your members are outside it altogether; their numbers are used only for your club.

Taking it back works five ways, and any one is enough: the Withdraw marketing consent button on Account; the unsubscribe link at the bottom of a marketing email; "stop" as a reply to that email; "stop" said out loud when Bakebound or a partner rings; or a note to hello@bakebound.com.au from your account address. We log the withdrawal straight away and tell the partners.

Withdraw while you are still on Free and the plan lasts to the end of this Melbourne month, since the consent was what it cost. Choose Crumb or Hearth from Pricing, or tick the consent again on Account, and you carry on with every member and stamp; do neither and Free ends with the month. Moving up from Free withdraws the consent the moment the paid plan starts, so there is nothing to withdraw on Crumb or Hearth. The consent page has the full wording and the record we keep.
