Every campaign text comes from a mobile number that is your bakery's alone, so a reply, a STOP most of all, can only land against your bakery. Shared senders are never used.
The number comes with Hearth at no extra charge. We get it for your account when the plan starts, and Campaigns shows it after "Your texts go from". Some days the carrier has none to hand. The page then tells you the number is coming, campaigns go out by email in the meantime, and an email from us says when it is ready. A Get my sending number button in its place needs one press, and that is the whole setup.
To send, choose SMS under Send by. You write the middle of the message, up to 300 characters. The text that lands reads your bakery's name, a colon, your words, then "Opt out:" and the member's own link, all kept under 480 characters. If it would run over, your words are trimmed and marked with three dots; the link is never cut. Under 160 characters reads best, for example "Hot cross buns from 6 am Thursday, and the chocolate ones are back."
Replies starting with "STOP", "unsubscribe", "opt out", "no", "cancel", "end" or "quit" opt that member out of your bakery's messages at once. Other replies do not show in the dashboard, so put your phone number in the text if you want calls.
Crumb shows only Email under Send by. Move to Hearth and SMS appears. Joining codes never use your number; they come from Daily Loaf, so customers can join before you have one.
